Role: Graduate Technical Support

Salary Range: £20,000-£26000 per annum

Duration: 3 months (with a view of a permanent post)

To be successful in the role you should have a solid understanding of how digital technology can be used in large and small organisations. You should be able to use your skills to diagnose and solve problems by providing robust and

End-to-end solutions.

The role

  • Manage the workflow of support requests through a ticketing system, support requests for existing applications
  • To understand client needs and timescales for support requests
  •  Clearly articulate timescales, expectations and ticket updates to clients
  • To investigate issues raised by clients and make an initial diagnosis
  • To manage the output and resource of the development team
  • Manage ongoing relationship with stakeholders to drive satisfaction
  •  Obtain key inputs from product management and development teams whilst identifying solution interdependencies
  •  Ensure developers understand how their work fits in the wider business context
  • Proven technical experience of both Front and Back End technologies would be a great advantage, as you'll be responsible for understanding a wide range of applications, based on multiple technologies.

Essential

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge and passion for digital across mobile, social and eCommerce channels
  • Understanding of basic networking principles
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, facilitation and presentation skills
  • Strong stakeholder management techniques
  • Passion for working collaboratively within and thriving in a
  • multi-disciplinary team environment

Desirable

  • Knowledge of digital and eCommerce technology applications including architecture and methods
  • Experience of market leading technology packages e.g. content management, eCommerce, search, social, mobile
  • Experience with networking protocols (e.g. ipv4, multicast, firewall’s)
  • Experience with authentication technologies (e.g. Active Directory, SAML)
  • Experience with video technologies (e.g. Transcoding, RTMP, HLS)
  • Experience with WordPress, AWS and Azure
  • Working knowledge of issue tracking tools (e.g. Jira, Trello)
  • Working knowledge of code management tools (e.g. GitHub)
