The Company
 
RightNow Digital provides websites and mobile apps that are cost-effective and quick to deliver.  We enable brands, publishers and rights-holders to maximise fan engagement by ensuring there is always new and interesting content available via specialised mobile media channels built using RightNow Digital's proprietary mobile CMS platform and deep curation of the real-time web. These channels allows fans to connect with their passions online, revealing news,social content and videos they would otherwise never see.

The industry focus areas at the moment are Sport, Fashion and Music with Sport in the most advanced stage of development.

RND is a small dynamic start-up and a UCL graduate would be exposed to all aspects of running a business. Our primary focus now is on building revenue as the product development phase is complete. So, a wide variety of sales, marketing, research and event management tasks would be undertaken by the graduate.

 
The aims of this Internship

The main aim of the internship is to assist with the Sales and Marketing function of RND. The objective would be to improve the efficiency of the sales process and to improve the quality of marketing activities.

Activities, duties and responsibilities

Examples of duties: 

Event planning and management
Social media strategy planning and execution
Communications planning and execution
Sales pipeline activities e.g. lead generation and reporting
Client project management
Competitor research

Skills and Experience that will be useful for this internship - these will be used to shortlist candidates

We are looking for a combination of energy and intelligence, someone who is willing to have a go at a variety of tasks, not afraid of technology with great people skills. Desirable strengths:
Planning and Organising
Verbal communication 
Project management
Research skills
Data organisation

Please note: If you are successful in being made an offer from the company for this internship, you will need to complete an Internship Agreement Letter and return this to UCL Careers before the internship starts.

This opportunity is part of the UCL Careers Summer Internship Scheme. Part of the wage for the successful intern is provided by Santander Universities, but the successful intern will be paid the full amount through the host company's payroll as normal.
